Bueno bueno, ¿qué paso? This week was cool. Our hermanito, Juan Antonio, came to church with his mom (their family is very inactive) this week and last, so his baptism is on for saturday! He's excited and his mom is doing an awesome job of supporting him and us in helping him come closer to God through this covenant. We've done good work in Arriaga. The area was proclaimed "dead" bey the last missionaries, but we've done our best to prove them wrong! We came into a desert and planted some seeds, and we're starting to see some fruit after a good amount of watering. It's crazy how much God blesses us for doing the one thing he asks us to do after everything he's already given us (read Mosiah 4)  And that thing is of course to Love and serve Him by gathering his sheep and loving one another.

Anyway, the title this week is a spanish tongue twister a few of you out there might be familiar with. My companion introduced it to me when I wanted help on speaking more fluidly. I say it like 100 times a day to get faster at making my mouth like spanish more. Good luck saying it 3 times fast to all of you who aren't fluent in spanish or a language alike out there. It's a good time.

We got to go to the temple this week in Tuxtla this week, which was epic. I love the temple, and after a sweaty 2 and half hour ride in a 14 passenger van with 20 people made it all the better. It was the first time to the temple for a few people in our branch, and it was cool to see them learn of the awesome covenants we get to make with God there and help others on the other side of the veil make.

Spanish is good if any of you are wondering. I hate language study, but I do it anyways cuz I know it's good for me, and I do see benefits from it day by day! I actually led a few lessons this week and have been teaching more and more. The gift of tongues is 100% real, because a month ago I could barely ask for the bathroom. It's my first time really digging into a language and my brain is not great at this kind of stuff (it's not math), so considering where I've started, God has helped me do pretty good.

Scripture of the week is Amos 3:7, an absolute banger of a scripture that helps us understand the role of prophets. I know God needs prophets on the Earth so we can make covenants through God's power and keep his commandments more effectively and live a happier life.

Anyway, that's all I got, thanksgiving isn't a thing down here, so hope all y'all enjoyed that. Remember to look for God in all things and be not afraid, and only believe! ¡Adiós!

Not a ton of pictures this week, just the temple
