3/11/25: Back to Tuxtla

***THIS WAS LAST WEEKS EMAIL (WROTE ON MARCH 11)*** (I don't know why it didn't send haha)

This last week was week 13 with my comp, Elder Ricks. We had a long 7 week transfer and then a normal one together, so he officially won the spot for longest comp with me in the mission.

However, I am no longer with Elder Ricks, our time came to an end. I'm gonna miss that guy, we got along super well. This time I got my transfers early. I got a call from the APs saturday night, they called me back to Tuxtla. I can't escape this place. They called me to be an assistent to the president. But it's alright, cuz the assignment keeps us moving around the mission quite a bit... Just in these last few days I've learned that we basically don't sleep.

Our pdays are pretty spotty and on a loose schedule, so my emails will be coming out a little less consistently. That's why I'm sending one today instead of yesterday.

I had to say goodbye to all my immigrant friends in Tapachula, unfortunately. I'm for sure gonna miss them. I made a lot of good friends and memories in Tapachula. Being ZL there and being able to work with so many people from so many places was honestly an enormous blessing and I wouldn't change it for anything. Four and a half months pass by fast when you're having a blast.

Ever since I got the new assignment in the mission I've felt pretty inadequate and really lost. It's been a great opportunity for me to really put my trust in the Lord and to actually rely on Him instead of do things in my own way. When you realize things your way are extremely ineffective, it gives you no other choice than to rely on God. It's a little overwhelming to think about, but I'm grateful I have the opportunity to really learn how to do it.

The Scripture of the Week is 1 Nephi 13:37,
"And blessed are they who shall seek to bring forth my Zion at that day, for they shall have the gift and the power of the Holy Ghost; and if they endure unto the end they shall be lifted up at the last day"

I like the part at the end that includes our part. We have to endure to the end if we really want the blessings or if we really want to establish Zion. We can't just skip out early.

Anyway, thanks for reading. Hope yall have a great week! Adios!
