3/3/25: Hot Season (de nuevo)

Heyo, what's up guys, didn't do an email last week but I'll get one out this week. Hot season has started, and we're officially feeling it. I'm a little more used to it now, so it's honestly not so bad.

This week we had a great time working with our people in teaching. We're seeing some good progress in our area, but we have a lot of people stuck in the age old problem for missionaries in Latin America of not being married.

We're working well with them and doing our best to help them, but so many of them don't have mexican papers or even papers at all, so it's a struggle. We're trying to still visit and help them out, but we also are trying to focus on others who aren't stopped by this part.

If I've gained a testimony of something on my mission, it's following God's laws for marriage and the Word of Wisdom. Following these two commandments really are enormous blessings. I've realized that after seeing so many struggles, fears, fights and problems generated from simply not living these two commandments.

Scripture of the Week is Isaiah 53:5
"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."
I think it's one of the most impactful verses in all of scripture. It really helps us think on what Christ has done for us and why we should thank Him and follow Him.

That's the highlight. Thanks for reading if you did, and we'll see ya later! Adioss
